As part of its commitment to meaningful community engagement, Oshikandela, marked International Women’s Day on 8 March through a targeted initiative focused on care, awareness and youth engagement on timely health matters.
On the day, Oshikandela donated 2kg Strawberry units to selected schools in Windhoek, Oshikandela and Mariental. The initiative aimed to support school communities, particularly the girl child, with early, accessible conversations around women’s health and wellbeing.
By engaging female learners and teachers within trusted community spaces, the engagement reinforced the importance of awareness and education as foundational elements of long-term female health outcomes. It also reflected Oshikandela’s role as a brand that extends beyond product, using its reach and familiarity to support positive social touchpoints.
This initiative forms part of Namibia Dairies’ broader approach to responsible brand stewardship, where community relevance, social impact and purpose-led action remain central to how brands engage with the people they serve. Visit the Oshikandela website here: www.oshikandela.com.na
