Primary distribution starts with moving finished products to our depots. We use different transport service providers, including our fleet, to distribute finished products to the depots. We have full-scale depots in Oshakati and Windhoek – one at our Avis Distribution Centre (DC) and another at our Prosperita DC – from where we service the entire country.
Each depot functions on clear operating processes and procedures and has access to its own chilled facility, ambient warehouse facility and secondary transport services. The depots are SAP-integrated and equipped with tracking, surveillance and routing and scheduling systems.
We pride ourselves in excellence on our deliveries. Therefore, we manage our own secondary distribution from each depot to most retailers and complete 675 drops per week, nationwide.
