Having a responsibility to Everyday Goodness does not reflect in our products alone. It is a strong commitment that we, as Namibia Dairies, strive to demonstrate through Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives towards the communities we engage with and the future we're building together.
From nutrition and education to community wellbeing, local manufacturing and agricultural development, we aim to always create meaningful impact while contributing to sustainable growth for generations to come.
Last year we were proud to see Oshikandela's More to Support campaign turn purpose into action through its Strawberry 2kg variant. A portion of proceeds was donated to the Cancer Association of Namibia, resulting in a N$20 000 contribution towards breast cancer awareness and patient support.
They further went on an International Women's Day engagement where Oshikandela donated Strawberry 2kg units to selected schools in Windhoek and Mariental, creating opportunities for conversations around women's health and wellbeing.
Building Namibia's future begins with youth investment. Through Nammilk's "It's What's Inside My Future" series including sponsoring the 2026 Spell-tacular Spelling Spree and engagements with schools like Sunshine Academy and IYF, we support opportunities that encourage the potential and dreams of young minds through the power of dairy.
Our duty to community wellbeing also means showing up where people need support. Last year, !Aimab Superfarm participated in the Mariental Fire Station Open Day during International Fire Safety Awareness Week, supporting collective efforts to promote fire safety education and community resilience.
As Namibia's largest dairy production and processing company, we recognise our responsibility to help strengthen the local dairy value chain. In March this year, Namibia Dairies hosted farmers from the Ozonahi Dairy Cooperative at our Avis manufacturing plant as part of the Dairy Value Chain Development Scheme (DVCDS). The engagement exposed emerging farmers to modern processing techniques, quality assurance and value-addition processes, supporting the development of a stronger, more self-sustaining dairy industry.
But meaningful impact can also begin with simply showing up. On 18 April 2026, Namibia Dairies supported the Dagbreek School Intellectual Disability Awareness Run, helping create an inclusive space for learners, families and the wider community.
On Nelson Mandela International Day, five Namibia Dairies employees also visited Senior Park Care Home in Pionierspark, Windhoek, spending time with residents and supporting the day's call for meaningful community service.
Lastly, the responsibility extends to engaging with the institutions and stakeholders shaping the country's future. On 18 July 2026, !Aimab Superfarm hosted the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources, led by Dr Tobie Aupindi, as part of its tour of development projects across southern Namibia. The engagement provided an opportunity to share insights into our operations and the role of !Aimab Superfarm in supporting local food production, innovation, employment creation and economic growth, while encouraging constructive dialogue around the opportunities and challenges facing Namibia's agricultural sector.
Overall, from our farms and manufacturing facilities to the communities we serve, we remain committed to supporting local people, strengthening local industries and nourishing Namibia. Because what we do locally can create lasting value nationally.
