We're proud to share that Nammilk has been recognised as the Most Admired Namibian Brand in the Non-Alcoholic Beverage category at the 16th Annual Brand Africa 100: Africa's Best Brands Awards, held in Windhoek on 24 June 2026.

The honour caps off a strong night for the Namibia Dairies portfolio: Rietfontein Guava Juice placed third in the Most Admired Namibian Brand in the Non-Alcoholic Beverage category, while Namibia Dairies was named first runner-up for Most Admired Consumer Staples Brand with Nammilk coming in third right after.

For a brand that has spent decades on tables across Namibia, this industry accolade is a huge recognition. The Brand Africa 100 rankings are based on independent consumer research, reflecting the genuine opinions of thousands of Africans and the brands they trust and choose every day. That makes this result a direct reflection of what Namibians think and feel about the products they choose every day.

This achievement belongs to the consumers who placed their trust in Nammilk in the first place. Choosing a Namibia Dairies product is also a vote of confidence in the people behind it, the farmers, factory teams and distributors who make up the local value chain.

That kind of trust doesn’t just happen. It’s the result of deliberate, consistent focus on reconnecting Nammilk with its roots, starting from a clear sense of identity and purpose and building outward into the everyday moments where the brand shows up: in schools, in homes, in workplaces across the country. In short: the award is proof that being authentic, caring and passionate earns lasting admiration.

These recognitions also land at a meaningful moment for African branding more broadly. Brand Africa's 2026 findings point to a growing consumer appreciation for local brands that consistently deliver quality, relevance and genuine consumer connection, exactly the territory Namibia Dairies has been working to own. As the brand looks ahead, the focus remains unchanged: producing trusted, high-quality products while nourishing and showing up in communities for the future of Namibia.

As Namibia Dairies’ Marketing Manager, Dalinka Alberto puts it: “This is the perfect opportunity to build on that momentum. Every time a Namibian consumer chooses a local brand, they're investing directly in their own economy. It's a reminder of why Namibia Dairies continues to back its products, its people and the communities they serve, today and for the decades ahead.”
