Namibia Dairies is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its F26 wage agreement negotiations with the Namibia Food and Allied Workers Union (NAFAU). The agreement, effective 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, applies to all permanent employees within the company’s bargaining unit.
In a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration, Namibia Dairies and NAFAU approached this year’s discussions with a shared goal: to protect employee livelihoods while ensuring long-term business sustainability. Despite ongoing economic and financial pressures, the parties reached a constructive and future-focused outcome.
Key highlights of the F26 Wage Agreement:
Wynand Oosthuizen, O&L Group Chief Operational Officer and Chairperson of Namibia Dairies, praised the outcome: “By putting our people at the heart of our purpose, this approach aligns with Vision 2029 and provides a balanced solution that supports our employees' well-being and the long-term sustainability of our business.”
This agreement represents more than just numbers. It reflects Namibia Dairies’ ongoing commitment to being an employer of choice and to creating a supportive, values-driven work environment. As a subsidiary of the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group, the agreement supports broader ambitions, including achieving a Top 10 ranking in the Global Great Place to Work (GPTW) Survey and staying true to the O&L Persona’s core of being authentic, caring and passionate.
“Namibia Dairies remains committed to continuous engagement with its employees, ensuring their voices are heard and their contributions valued. This milestone marks a fair agreement and a positive step toward the future we are building together,” concludes Oosthuizen.
